Friends & Neighbors:

I have three events to share with you this time around.

First up is WellWorks’ annual Winter Gathering. Beginning Thursday afternoon at 4:00pm this free event is an open house of sorts and features a great selection of local food, live entertainment, prizes, and WellWorks membership specials. Additional entertainment will be provided by Athens Children’s Chorus and The Hotpoint String Band. There’s no commitment to work out – just knock off work a bit early and come enjoy yourself.

Then on Friday evening the Athens Community Music School presents a Winter concert by the aforementioned Athens Children’s Chorus at 7:00pm. Even though I’m not performing in this event I wanted to let you know about this event because: A. My wife Melanie is the director of ACC and B. The sound of children singing (and singing so well!) is akin to a spiritual experience. I’ll admit it. I’m biased. But if you like music I can guarantee you’ll enjoy hearing this group of talented kids. Not to be missed.

Finally, beginning at 6:30 on Saturday evening I’ll be at Rhapsody Fine Music and Dining serving up my own brand of delicacies alongside Hocking College’s award-winning culinary artists.

One final note. I am now teaching two levels of Intro to Guitar for Adults via Athens Community Music School. If you have ever wanted to play the guitar or just want to brush up on your existing skills this is a great opportunity. And remember, individual or group lessons make a great gift for the holidays. Gift Certificates for private instruction are always available by contacting me directly.

See you soon,
